1. Identify the main structures on the front and back of the heart. (Right ventricle, left ventricle, right atrium, left atrium, right auricle, left auricle, aorta, pulmonary artery, connection of the superior and inferior vena cava to the left atrium, coronary sinus. See 2. for a discussion of the pulmonary veins.)
 
 
2. Early anatomy students: Please be sure to review the normal anatomy of pulmonary veins. The autopsy focused on lung anatomy and the connection between the pulmonary veins and heart is transected. How many veins are there supposed to be? How many openings to the right atrium are there in the video?
 
 
3. Do you see any pathology on the heart?
