1. View the brain. Identify the dura mater, arachnoid mater and pia mater. What areas show pia but not arachnoid mater? Can you see the pia mater with the naked eye?
2. What are arachnoid granulations? Can you identify any?
3. Which of these spaces is visible? Epidural. Subdural. Subarachnoid.
4. Has this patient had a stroke?
