New feature. “Training: Evidence-based thinking – 2.” Expand evidence-based assessment to the entire cases. “Training: Evidence-based thinking – 1” checks your skill assesses an individual video. This next part has you focus on the history. We’ve identified an evidence-based thinking issue in the case. It’s some clinical decision or judgment where an issue with evidence-based thinking affected the case. See if you can identify the issue by studying the case history. Add the video to assess the consequences for the patient. How did an issue with evidence-based thinking affect the outcome? Was it a life-or-death impact? Decide for yourself.

Training: Evidence-based thinking. Now check your thinking skills as you view selected cases. Are your conclusions evidence-based? The site will provide you with a series of statements. Many are reasonable and could apply to the case. But only a few have evidence within the case to support them. The site will check your thinking and let you know when all your conclusions are evidence-based. Give it a try here. And find the feature under “Train to view cases” on the menu.

New feature: Train to view cases. Actively follow the case by rearranging a list of events into their correct order while you watch. Match the events in the video as they occur. Sharpen your observation skills. The site will notify you if the order of events is correct. Feature available now for Cases 1 through 4. This interactive feature will replace the “What’s inside?” list for these cases. Currently for desktop only.
